Empire IPS is the successor to a series of Durham Region based security companies that have operated over the past 20 years. In 2001, under the aggressive leadership of our new President , a new life was breathed into the older corporate structure, and Empire IPS, a modern, responsive and multi faceted organization, that is able to provide solutions to all of your security needs, is the proud result.

Our new President came to Empire IPS with a determined customer focus and built a leadership team to carry forward his client centred vision of a security company, in an industry too often concerned only with the “bottom line”, as opposed to meeting and exceeding a client’s expectations. Together with our Vice President, an academic, and veteran of high level security under takings, the corporate course of Empire IPS has been brilliantly charted.

Empire IPS is a security provider with offices in the Greater Toronto Area, Montreal, Edmonton and international offices in the United States and the Persian Gulf Region. Empire IPS has grown its business through a consistent approach to the company motto “Proactive & Responsive”.

Each of Empire’s officers is empowered to take steps to ensure that client needs are addressed and that their actions create the infrastructure to reduce problems and increase the client’s well being and productivity.

Empire has several divisions which have specific operational goals and remedies for clients. Our Investigations Division over sees the operations of both the Private Investigation & Surveillance Unit, and the Retail Investigations & Loss Prevention Unit which has provided service to such clients as Pharma Plus, No Frills, Nasr Foods, Shoppers Drug Mart, Galati Bros. and Sobeys.

Our Operations Division includes our Uniformed / Mobile Patrol Branch, K-9 Branch, and Security Equipment & Monitoring Branch. Our International offices are involved in training law enforcement officers, providing executive protection to corporate executives and dignitaries, as well as K-9 services to a variety of clientele.

Through the implementation of our international offices, Empire IPS has expanded its management group to include individuals that have extensive backgrounds in law enforcement. A broad based management team means that clients benefit from years of practical experience and proficient problem solving capabilities.
